Hello! I am a plant-herbivore ecologist and assistant professor of plant biology at Whitworth University. My research centers on questions of intraspecific plant diversity, global change, and the timing of species interactions.
Prior to starting at Whitworth, I was an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Wetzel Lab at Michigan State University. I earned my Ph.D. in Integrative Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a member of the Lindroth research group. I grew up in Seattle and completed my B.S. in Genetics and Plant Biology at UC Berkeley. In my free time I enjoy working on sewing projects and riding most types of bicycles.
