Hello! I am a plant-herbivore ecologist and assistant professor of plant biology at Whitworth University. My research centers on questions of intraspecific plant diversity, global change, and the timing of species interactions.
About Me: Prior to starting at Whitworth, I was an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Wetzel Lab at Michigan State University. I earned my Ph.D. in Integrative Biology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a member of the Lindroth research group. I grew up in Seattle and completed my B.S. in Genetics and Plant Biology at UC Berkeley. In my free time I enjoy working on sewing projects and riding most types of bicycles.
